One of the most highly requested experiences at The Hangar Flight Museum is the ability to sit in our aircraft. Our aircraft are historical artifacts so we do our best to protect them by performing preventative maintenance as well as requiring clean closed-toe shoes for this experience. 

2025 UPDATE: The Now Boarding schedule is now available! We are closed Saturday August 30 for a private event. 

Choose to come based on your favourite plane, or the date you're available for a visit, or come see all 5 planes this summer! Our membership rates are great value for experiencing all that The Hangar has to offer this summer.  

Closed-toe shoes must be worn for this experience. Gloves and bump-hats will be provided for entry into the Avro Lancaster. 

* if we are unable to open the scheduled aircraft for any reason, a different aircraft will be substituted. 

Beechcraft 18: Saturday June 21, Saturday July 5, Sunday July 20, Saturday August 9, Sunday August 24.

Douglas DC-3: Sunday June 22, Saturday July 12, Saturday July 26, Monday August 4, Saturday August 23, Saturday September 6. 

Sikorsky Dragonfly: Saturday June 28 and Sunday June 29 for Helicopter Weekend, Sunday July 13, Sunday July 27, Sunday August 10.

Avro Lancaster: Monday June 30, Sunday July 6, Sunday August 3, Saturday August 16, Monday September 1, Sunday September 7. 

De Havilland Twin Otter: Tuesday July 1, Saturday July 19, Saturday August 2, Sunday August 17, Sunday August 31.
